About Me

Education/Work

My name is Jennifer Jacques.  I grew up in Hartford, SD and graduated from West Central High School in 1998.  I attended DSU in Madison, receiving a degree in Eled/Sped in 2003.  After college, I moved to Pierre, where I taught Special Education at the Pierre Indian Learning Center until 2010.  Currently, I teach Special Education at LB Williams Elementary in Mitchell, SD. 

Family

My parents, Bob & Carol, still live in Hartford.  My mother works for Citibank and my father sells cars on our farm.  My sister, Stacey, and her two daughters also live in Hartford.  Kayla is nine and in 4th grade at West Central this year.  Samantha is four and attends preschool at her daycare.
